Below is a list of local resources - in Evergreen and the Denver area - to support students and families with mental health issues.


Jefferson Center for Mental Health

Jefferson Center for Mental Health is the not-for-profit community mental health center serving Jefferson, Clear Creek, and Gilpin counties. Our mission is to promote mental health and provide quality mental health services for persons with emotional problems and/or serious mental illness.

Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice

Mount Evans provides compassionate in-home health care and hospice services to Colorado mountain-area residents. They offer grief support to adults and children, including their children's bereavement program, Camp Comfort.

Colorado Crisis Services

Colorado Crisis Services is a statewide resource for mental health, substance use, or emotional crisis help, information and referrals. They provide confidential and immediate support, 24/7/365 on the phone, text, chat, or in person at their walk-in centers.

Denver Springs

The mission of Denver Springs is to change people's lives by delivering state-of-the-art, evidence-based treatment and compassionate care to those who are struggling with mental health or addiction issues.

Highlands Behavioral Health System

Located in Littleton, Highlands BHS offers inpatient and intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment for adolescents (11+) and adults.

Judi's House

Judi's House is a free-standing organization in the Metro Denver area devoted solely to supporting grieving children and their families.

Outward Bound

Outward Bound is the leading provider of experiential and outdoor education programs for youth and adults. Regardless of who you are or where you are from, there is an Outward Bound course at an Outward Bound School that is right for you.
