Anyone who does not purchase at this time is not guaranteed a yearbook. We will only have a few extra on yearbook distribution day, available on a first come, first served, basis with 8th grade taking priority.

The 8th grade Leadership group is now officially a part of PeaceJam!

This is a locally-based, international organization dedicated to connecting Nobel Peace Prize laureates with youth around the world. This year's conference will be held March 11 -13 at Regis University and features Shirin Ebadi, a native of Iran who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003 for her efforts to uphold women's rights while living under a gender-oppressive government.

Hoops for Heart is an exciting fundraising event for our kids to raise money for research and education regarding heart disease through the American Heart Association.

If students raise money, they are able to participate in heart healthy activities during their electives time. Last year we started hip hop for heart, as another example of an alternative fitness activity, along with hoops, and jump rope. This year we have an instructor from Kinetic Arts coming in the morning to teach a hip hop dance for those who are interested. Click on Hoops for Heart to see the letter that was written from our representative of AHA regarding Ava Aldrich. She is our EMS heart hero.
