18-19 School Year:

About Mr. Major:
This is my third year at EMS and I love being a Ram! Prior to working at EMS, I was a school counselor at another middle school in Denver and, before that, I was a paraprofessional in Jeffco.

Although I was born in Virginia, I grew up in Colorado Springs, so I am almost a Colorado native. I went to Colorado Christian University for a degree in psychology and The University of Phoenix for my master's in school counseling. I am also working on my second master's degree and I get to take classes at the Denver Zoo!

Outside of working at EMS, I volunteer for an organization called Young Life and I volunteer at the Denver Zoo. I enjoy photography and I love playing disc golf, ultimate Frisbee, and baseball. I love being outside and I love being in or around water. I love to travel, too, and the coolest place I've visited was the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. I am excited to take EMS students to Costa Rica over Spring Break. I have a cat named Simon and two crested geckos. I also love birds of prey, especially owls.

I am looking forward to another great school year at EMS!
