Exciting update!
As we move towards 1-1 Chromebooks in our building, we have new information regarding purchasing devices for your student. We have placed an initial order of Chromebooks that will be available for the 2018-19 school year. The anticipated end of life for this batch of devices is May 2024. When your child finishes at EMS, they will be able to continue using this device.  Please complete this form to secure a device for your student.

Battle of the Books

  1. Choose a book from the list. We have print and Kindle copies available. The public library also has copies of the books available. As you read, think of a couple of questions to turn in about the book. We will use some of the questions gathered at the end of the trimester for our “book battle”. This will be similar to a spelling bee where contestants will be asked to answer questions about the books. The more books you read, the better chance you have to win prizes!
  2. Each time you you have finished a book, complete the Google form on the library page or by reading the QR code. This will keep track of the number of books you read and compile all questions turned in.
